Keith
began his career playing piano and keyboards in jazz and rock groups in
Chicago in the 1970s. From 1980 to 1996 he served as keyboardist and
keyboard programer for the National Tours of EVITA and CATS as well as
on Broadway in New York City for such shows as CATS, LES MISERABLES,
CITY OF ANGEL, WILL ROGERS FOLLIES and CRAZY FOR YOU among many others.
He can be heard on the film scores of THE MORNING AFTER and CROSSING
DELANCEY. In 1991 he won an award for Best Film Score at the NYU Film
Festival. He currently resides in Jackson, Wyoming where with bassist
Bill Plummer he recently recorded the CD - WRAP YOU TROUBLES IN DREAMS.
In 2009 Keith completed a variety of
recordings as a accompanist. He can be heard as a soloist, accompanist and
band leader in and around the inter-mountain west. He collaborates on the
acclaimed samba band project BRAZILIANA. In addition to his playing career
he has been teaching children and adults classical and jazz piano for the
past 13 years.
